There is now a variety of AGA models available, from 60cm to 210cm in size, and the broad majority of AGA cookers can now be switched on and off as and when you need them, in turn saving both time and money.
Our refurbished AGAs are available in many different fuels such as solid fuel, oil, gas and 13 amp electric (cook only). There are three main styles of cookers available for us to supply.
There is the Aga traditional, also called the Aga standard. The Aga pre 74 deluxe and the Aga post 74 deluxe. We can refurbish and reconstruct any of these cookers to suit your specifications regarding colour, fuel type, cooking only or cooking and domestic hot water.
Traditional Aga
The Standard Aga, more commonly known as the Traditional Aga range cooker, was initially only produced in a cream colour with solid fuel.
The cast-iron Aga cookers were created in 2 ovens and 4 oven models and used for either cooking only or with the added option of powering domestic hot water systems.
These Aga range cookers were truly the most popular choice for consumers due to the appliances craftsmanship, durability and beautiful classic look.
The Traditional Aga range cooker was an incredible addition to any kitchen with its extraordinary cooking abilities and traditional character.
Our range of reconditioned cast iron Traditional Aga Cookers are available in an array of different colours. Although initially only available as solid fuel, they can now operate successfully on oil, gas or a 13 amp electrical supply.
The solid fuel reconditioned Aga range cookers are solely intended to use coals & anthracite, not wood.

Aga Deluxe
The Aga Deluxe originated in the late 60s and was initially available as a solid fuel, oil or gas-fired. However, now it is available as 13 amp electrical powered too. The Aga was created in 1 oven and 4 oven models, used either for cooking only or with the added option for domestic hot water. However, hot water is not an available option for electric-powered models.
The hot plates and oven sizes on the Aga Delux are no different from the Traditional Aga regarding performance levels. The only significant difference is merely cosmetic as the Delux was designed with more subtle edges and a modernised contemporary display.
Being made from British cast iron means that The Aga is an exceptional appliance to recondition. We use the castings of a cooker only, which are shot blasted and vitreous enamelled in various colours.
All other parts we will replace with brand new components. Reconditioned Aga Deluxes can now be purchased in a collection of colours to suit any kitchen interior.
Aga Tech Details
The following technical details will ensure we can properly install your Aga cooker. If any of these specifications are not carried out, we cannot perform the installation service.
Your chimney flue should be aligned with a five-inch flexible flue liner. If you happen to have a prefabricated flue, You will require a five-inch double-insulated liner.
Although the flue can exit either horizontally or vertically from your cooker, the centre must be 18 3/8" from the units' right edge and 2.5 inches from the back. A vedette cowl is heavily recommended.
At a minimum, the accompanying air ventilation must be at least 10 square cm and can access air directly outside the room where the appliance is situated.
Level-differential cooker and fuel tank outlets should be 18 inches in diameter, at least. The oil control valve must be approximately 4 inches wide and can be situated on either side of the tank, up to 5 feet away.
The feed pipe that connects to the Aga cooker should be 10 mm in diameter and intended for use with 28-second heating oil. The oil supply will need to be ready to turn on when we arrive, and the acting fire valve must be outside the building where the oil line is, with the sensor nearest your unit.
If your Aga unit has hot water facilities, then it should be connected to an indirect gravity flow system. The water pipes are 28 mm in diameter and can exit from the right or left side of the cooker.
The hot water tank should be no more than 18 feet away to avoid losing any heat efficiency.
We must position your cooker on a level surface made from fireproof materials. The recommended depth of a plinth is around 26 inches. However, if you have the Aga deluxe model, the suggested depth increases to 27 inches.
The width of the plinth should be 38 and 7/8ths inches for Aga deluxe double ovens and 58 and 5/8th inches for 4 oven models. Plinth height is optional.
The delivery and installation will be completed by highly-trained professionals and includes labour costs. On arrival, we expect a fully prepared site with all the above specifications met and water pipes ready to be connected by a plumber.
